Big store. Friendly customer service. What I like best about the sore: Best selection of wine and beer in Scarborough. Solid butcher with wide selection. Really good seafood section-probably the most under-rated part of the store. Good to excellent produce (depending on the season) and good selection of ethnic food.
Always a nice shopping experience with a huge variety of product choices, clean aisles, friendly and helpful associates. Prices are very competitive.
The deli is not good. I wanted some soup the other day at about 5:30 in the evening. Two of the four soup vessels were empty and the other two looked like they had been there all day. On the way out I mentioned it to the service desk and they were kind enough to offer me a prepackaged bowl of soup, free of charge. That was nice of them, right? So, I brought it home and heated it up to discover it was not the clam chowder I chose but it was corn chowder and was labeled wrong. Meh.
Very friendly staff outgoing willing to even let you in if you're outside shoveling the parking lot at night when they're closed
