I don't like being negative, so I will say it was a pretty campground with a little lake. The fact they charge you to swim in it on top of other fees is ridiculous, though. I'd recommend trying another campground farther away- or simply NOT- on the path to the airport!

Out of the three campgrounds I stayed at during my 2-week vacation, this was the worst campground hands-down. I had high hopes but unfortunately I was disappointed. The office staff, while nice, were also a bit ditzy and couldn't seem to answer basic questions. The speed limit is 5mpg- 10 or 15mph are more logical and acceptable. 5 mph is so slow, you wonder if you're even moving! My first night there, I was kept awake the ENTIRE night- I called the office # hoping for an after-hours number but there wasn't one. No night watchman to keep down the offensive profanity-laced conversations and fights at the site next to mine. I ended up calling the police myself at 5am; they escorted the people off the property. And every morning I was there, the jumbo jets that flew right overhead at 6am were more than an annoyance! I can accept the really loud Canada geese and ducks- I am a nature conservationist- but the jets, etc were awful. The bathroom didn't seem like it was cleaned daily, either.

Great amenities and great staff. It was a very comfortable place to camp. They also have a store to purchase simple items. The bathhouse was clean and the laundry area was pleasant. My only issue is that I think the price was a little steep for someone camping in a tent. I can't comment on RV related pricing; I've only been there in a tent.

What a nice weekend. We have been here many times and I've always been very pleased. This weekend was Christmas weekend and they had lots of activities available for the children and the adults and every event was right on time. Our site was terrific, check in was perfect, facilities are nice and clean. We live locally and will most certainly be going back there again and again. And despite any reviews that say that the staff are rude, we have never found that to be the case. Every single staff member was very approachable and accommodating. That makes for a very nice camping experience. Thank you Wassamki Springs.

We had a site right on the water, it was amazing. Site was a good size. Staff was so nice, bathrooms were super clean, lots of activities throughout the weekend for kids and adults. The lake was super clean and clear to boat, fish and swim. Big fish!! Sunday breakfast being served by the campground was a nice touch, live band and bonfire. We had such a good time. We will be back for sure.

Not the place you want if you like quite. If you have children this is not a bad spot but other than that if go somewhere else. The Jet Port is just sound the corner so you get take off and landings from 5am on. The staff was nice enough though the gate people are a bit stiff. Oh and you better not even think about doing more than 5 mph past an empty area near the pond, My 7 mph was supposedly coming in Hot. The weekly rate was reasonable, but if your looking at doing anything other than Portland or the coast near by then look a bit harder for something more North and possibly inland. I will not be staying here again but maybe it can work for you.
